Everything else is bush league for nobodies to create a gimmick to get a WWE contract but it's no WWF or even WCW on a talent level.

I'm not the guy you were arguing with but you guys are always bringing up viewers.
Realistically I think WWE having the biggest market share, AEW having maybe 50-60% of that and a lot of other smaller companies elsewhere is the best model for the business we could ask for.

There is a segment of the population WWE can reach and AEW can't. And if they tried they'd fail while running off their real fans.
Personally I'd rather American wrestling was more like golden ages in Japan but the math won't math on that.
The current model is probably the best for everyone that we could reasonably ask for, though I think the wrestling leadership is making way to many mistakes than they should be and could be doing way better.
