Big Dave has got to be the most manufactured WWE "superstar" of all time, really. In terms of raw talent there's nothing distinguishing him from any of the other useless roided up big men of the era other than that Triple H went above and beyond to put him over and that WWE presented him as such.
He was useless in the ring and never had the athleticism of Brock Lesnar, he didn't have the charisma of Cena and he was a terrible babyface promo, he was constantly injured, he was just above average, if even.
Talent wise? You can't tell me Batista had more talent than any of the other big men of the era, like Jindrak or like Heindenreich or like Nathan Jones.
