I was a kid when he came back for his feud with bret in the 90s
I shoot thought he was like 60 years old at the time
WWF never really explained to their child audience that he was a former champion or ever showed any archive footage
as an adult it makes more sense I guess

I remember when Bob Backlund cut what I believe is the first shoot promo in the WWF, where he started calling Diesel "Kevin Nash". If there's anything that happened before that do tell me, but I think that's the first time they broke kayfabe on TV openly like that
