Need to spin off the All-Atlantic belt from the International and bring back the FTW belt. Also keep the unified championship as a seperate thing from the continental and international. Between those 7 plus the heavyweight belt, the tag belts and the trios every single match should have a belt on the line.

i think there's actually 5 midcard titles, the unified title too no? because the continental and intercontinental titles continued their own lineage after their supposed "unification." and then there's the tag belts, and the trios belts...

Continental is a world title.

The only belt that does not make any sense here is national.
I’m a belt autist and see the reason for practically each title AEW has unlike much of this board. Even then, I see absolutely no difference between National and International.

My assumption is that national is supposed to be the traveling belt since All-Atlantic/International became their workhorse belt but they’ve done fuck all with it. I hope it’s role is made more clear in the next year

Yep. It's pretty much their M.O. Too many dangerous moves. PPV's that are too long. Too much of a focus on in-ring. Fans that are too into the product to the point that they actively drive away new fans. Too many titles. Too many wrestlers (except rookies, the one thing you want to have too much of). Too many commentators.
