It shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone with a brain that a literal money mark who's booking for the online contingent of obese marks couldn't put together a compelling show.
But yeah, the honeymoon period is over, that's all. AEW wasn't actually any better when Sonny Kiss was twerking to the ring, when a tranny held the women's title, when Joey Janela was a regular feature, when Marko Stunt was having competitive matches with normal sized adults, when Mox was pissing on his baby in an alcoholic stupor, etc., etc.
