It's on par with men's wrestling companies outside NJPW though. Stardom is the second most popular wrestling company in Japan, male or female.
The bigger issue is that there's just not a whole lot of Japanese wrestling fans anymore.

What they do is sell sponsorships and to sponsor you have to buy 10 tickets or something like that. So people do that, but no one wants to actually go so he's able to report bunch of tickets sold and it looks empty. Then he adds inflation on top of it.
