Around the same time, I was convinced RVD vs Balls Mahoney from the ECW PPV where they advertised RVD vs Johnny "Who?" Smith who was a gaijin in AJPW but he wasn't there so they did that instead wasn't just a good match, it was a great match. It peters out at okay but I didn't know that then, much like I didn't know ECW sucked because it was the cool Pulp Fiction wrestling at the time.
