It's definitely embarrassing, but no. If Takeshita were to continue working in NJPW it would just be seen as an obstacle he must now surpass.

Look, Takeshita is good and all and this was a pretty fair reign of his that put Tsuji over in the end.

But can we please stop fucking having AEW reigns now? There's no reason for it. NJPW has a lot of young people. Take chances with them. No more AEW reigns for at least the next decade and a half (Assuming AEW even lives that long)
