The greatest character debut in television history, and then they did the right thing by making him likeable. That’s what JDM did really well.

But “eventually liking him” is what makes it more engaging and dramatic when Rick bludgeons him to a pulp in a season finale at some point.

Second season was slow and boring, only had a couple good episodes.
After the prison/governor war arc it started to dip and then when the Saviors War ended it really got bad and I dropped it after Rick got choppered off.
