People got way too sensitive about Regal saying that. He even showed a picture of his own messed up neck. He wasn't really pointing fingers at one promotion. He was criticizing nasty neck bumps that goes on anywhere in wrestling.

It's the disingenuity of it all that draws attention. If he really cared about it that much as he pretends to, he'd call the dumb spots in WWE too but he doesn't and we all know why. On that point, I'm not a little pussy that cringes at neck spots, those have always been a part of wrestling and only WWE's carefully cultivated soi audience cry about it, but it's just funny how all these pearl clutchers are completely silent when it comes to criticizing WWE
