Gable Stevenson, total waste of time for everyone involved including poor Kurt Angle. Years in development, not a single good segment or match, couldn't get fit, dragged to main shows trying to get people get excited for a charisma vacuum Olympic medalist.
At least he got Corbin over for his best run in WWE, but that was more of an happy accident.

For about a year and a half, he was employed for 10 years and spent most of those years doing lower card matches on Velocity. That's quite a fall from a guy that was one of WWE's first developmental guys because they thought he could be a world champion

If you listen to Cornette talk about it he'll say the guy had beautiful flowing blonde locks like a star from the 80's. In reality the guys hairline had receded almost half way up his skull and Pritchard or Jonny Ace told him to get rid of that shit.

It's weird he, afka Damon Kemp , Bobby Steveson vanished for year and just last November has had two matches in Oklahoma apparently. Really thought he was a solid foundation for a professional wrestler. Decent voice for promos, looked natural acting on segments. Everything they tried to dig out of Gable was in Bobby already, imo

Well yeah, hence the Benoit comparisons. WWE actually had him train for months to wrestle exactly like Chris but then Fit had a match with him and was like "this kid isn't ready" and they nixed the whole Benoit protoge storyline
