His contract with AEW is set to expire soon (if not already expired), he hasn't appeared on AEW in 8 months, and it's already been announced that AEW is not co-producing the wrestling matches on the 2026 Rock 'n' Wrestling Cruise like they have the past few years.
Cutting ties with AEW for the cruise is what made it seem obvious he's leaving, IMO. But who knows, the cruise isn't until November 2026, so hypothetically there's still time for him to re-sign with AEW and get them involved with the cruise again. As of right now all of the talent announced are ex-WWE talent or currently in TNA though.
