I like him a lot but he has a 1 of 1 ability to find what makes him the most dimeless and focus on it.
The beard is a great example. Why did he have it for years? His shitty ripped up pirate gear he had for years.
When he first debuted in LIJ he looked cool, the mohawk, the skull mask, the bat, but he ditched it all to be a fucking geek.

Sanada should've just sucked it up and went to get the surgeries he needed when Gabe Kidd hurt him. He'd be healed by now and could still be used in the main event as a guy to work with the young talent to start making them credible.

Injuries took their toll. His complete lack of a promo and overall awkwardness made it hard to invest him anyways, he didn't have enough of a presence to overcome that. Maybe a good manager and a rivalry with someone other than Naito could have at least kept him relevant if he stayed healthy.

I have grown to have a massive hate boner for Gedo, all he wants to do is fill up every card with random tagmatch slop and bury anyone that people actually like. Tsuji beating Takeshitter was a nice exception but Gedo is a fucking awful booker.
