>>19664538>do you legit think the in the ring product from WWE over the years is better than what NJPW was doing from 2013 to 2019 Of course not, WWE despite all their resources have always under performed in the ring. Even the most celebrated in ring guys in WWE history like Hart and HBK are pretty average, and actual goats like Flair having done their best work outside of the WWE.
>what AEW has been doing? Purely just the in the ring stuff? I don't watch WWE enough these days. But I really did try to get into AEW, but they're awful and it's very likely, and I hope, WWE is better than them in the ring. Guys don't know how to structure matches, their moves often just look bad even if they aren't botched, there's no attempt to connect with the audience through selling or comebacks. They're a lot closer to 2002 czw open matches than they are to Japanese wrestling or even ROH when it it was halfway decent.
I really can't emphasize this enough, I am the lapsed fan AEW on paper should be able to bring back. I love all of their alleged influences, but they're just bad.
