Most of the biggest pillheads in the industry wouldn't wrestle high. At worst, they'd time when they took them, so they'd kick in right after their segment on the card.
Wrestling fucked up on percs would have you looking a lot more like Jeff Hardy at Victory Road.

You don't understand pill addiction. These people take 100+ pills per day starting when they wake up. I'm sure Kurt would try to time it in such a way that he wouldn't be too fucked up to wrestle, but that level of addict is never not high unless they're going into withdrawal (and he ain't going into the ring or cutting promos while in opiate withdrawl).

Oh I guarantee he was using 90% of the day. But most guys at his level were professional enough to not be fucked up in the ring. Besides, the adrenaline of wrestling takes away a lot of the pain in the moment, so they could get by.
