CZW and JCW's deathmatches usually have people who are well trained and know what they are doing. Most of GCW on the other hand unfortunately does not.

a lot of the glass in deathmatches is tempered glass that's designed to break into small pieces rather than big shards that'll slice an artery
it's what they put in shower doors or cabinets or whatever so if the glass breaks you're gonna get some cuts sure but nothing that's gonna go too deep

this, the quality of deathmatch wrestling varies greatly. some of them are actually very talented while some others are true and genuine shitters. GCW is undoubtedly the worst of all. Think about this, CZW actually did much crazier shit than GCW, and yet they've had fewer horrific accidents and no deaths.

Well CZW also operates an entire wrestling school as part of the promotion. In fact, there were a few other incarnations of their wrestling school including one with Chikara co-owning it. JCW on the other hand usually scouts from local indie promotions that they end up encountering. Most are usually the normal type but they've started saving the deathmatch stuff for rare occasions.
