Bas Rutten's pancrase career is worth watching, not the Japanese guys. Most of their fights were works, and the ones that weren't were against kickboxers brought into a sport that didn't allow closed fists to get beat easily.

Of course most of Pancrase was a total work, good work but still work to anyone who knows anything about real MMA so to speak, although, the Rutten/Funaki fight was definitely not a work and is a fight worth watching because of the atmosphere and Funaki's "warrior spirit" while getting massacred by Rutten
