well, that includes Shawn Michaels too. because HBK is starting to crack, and i just lost respect for him when he decided to be a cold and dismissive uncaring asshole to Danny Burch in 2022 when Burch was going through his own alcohol problems
(much like HBK ironically went through in the 1990s).

as a former wrestler who went through severe drugs and alcohol addiction issues in the 1990s, Shawn Michaels should've been more understanding of Burch's struggles and be able to relate to Burch's alcohol problems.
if only HBK wasn't so fucking rude to him, then maybe Burch wouldn't have called him out today.

Shawn's current title is Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative for WWE, where he oversees the NXT brand, focusing on developing new talent and shaping the creative direction for WWE's developmental system, working closely with Triple H in his executive roles. Shawn's job is to make sure that what we see on television is the absolute best that he is able to present. That's what Shawn's current role in the company is. If there is a problem with any one of the prospects or employees, Shawn is to direct them to the most immediate means of treatment, assistance and care within his professional reach to the best of his abiilties and then is expected to go about his duties.

This Burch moron was 40 years old by the time he approached Shawn. Burch should have been the adult that he is and taken care of his own issues of substance abuse outside of his profession instead of dumping his issues onto Shawn and latching onto another addict like addicts tend to do because Shawn overcame his issues and so Burch should as well. Danny can get the fuck over himself for not wanting accountibility and owning up to what his underlying problems are and should have been focusing on those to better his situation in life so that it doesn't impede on his burgeoning career or even giving up being a fucking pro wrestler in your early 40s to deal with it. Shawn's there to train wrestlers, not stick his finger in everyone's ass to overcome issues like some TLC show.
