Even after all this time I don’t get why Cole called him the best pure striker in the history of WWE? What even is a pure striker?

It's an mma term, but I guess it can apply to pro-wrestling too... the funny thing is, slams are more entertaining than strikes. I think he was just too lazy to lift anyone at that point in his career

Have you never watched a Taker match? Outside of signature moves like old school or his flying clothesline, 99% of what he does is striking
