Problem is, beating Ludiwg with or without the mask will only get him heat in AAA, not really in the US, so they have to go all the way with this storyline to get something out of it, meaning Ludwig's EGA eventually goes over, it's just how it is. not even a bad decision, just they're kinda forced to do it now
Unless Gable learned spanish while he was off and they turn him face with the EGA gimmick as well but that won't get him far
But really, it's fucked because they have a very small window to fast track him to where he should be on the card. But the booking is slow as shit and they have a monstruous fucking backlog of people to push and five matches per show, more like four even these days. it's fucked.
