>>19733904There's a little more too it than that. The bitch wasn't just random slag. She was in the business, her dad was a ref, and Scurll had done some training with her when she was like 14-15 (can't remember). Even if he banged her when she was legal (ignoring the two drunk parties consent rabbithole), you've got the groomer angle, and it has a lot more smoke than what we shitpost about Kenny and Riho.
There's texts with Scurll apologizing to the dad because it was inappropriate to kiss her (when everyone knew he did way more than just that). This dude knew he was doing something he probably shouldn't have been doing and then tried to pass it off as less than it actually was. Throw in the fact that he absolutely screwed himself by having some "Not a real apology" apology statements after admitting to doing these things and he just looks like a total shithead.
He shouldn't be in jail and I don't think he should be ostracized like Joey Ryan (who absolutely could've killed your career if you didn't play his games before he got nailed), but he's firmly in the realm of "Brother you fucked up big time here, we can't do anything for ya". People use this term too loosely most times, but he's just too big of fucking brand risk while not being anywhere near the type of draw to outweigh them (see Ric Flair's corpse getting AEW bookings).
