trick has some good matches under his belt but he's not a flashy workrate type of guy, especially when he's working heel (and he's better as a heel) he was never going to be a smarky favorite - they all unironically thought carmelo hayes was the michaels and was going to be one of the future faces of the company lmao.
frankly workrate IS important - it's disgraceful that jey uso or jade cargill for example are world champions - but it's not everything or even close to it. trick is clearly going to be a megastar as long as he doesn't regress from where he is in terms of ring skill currently.
