Everything about that All In match was poorly planned
>Toni v Mariah was the much bigger match and was story based
>Match if anything over delivered
>Went on early in the night following a party match

>Mercedes v Baker was half assed and match quality based
>Mercedes was unable to carry Baker and no one cared about the match
>Had to follow the most workrate heavy match on the show

It went on second on the main card. It got the fuck you spot. It was also the only world title match to not have a merch shirt made for it despite both women being from the UK or having made their name there. Meanwhile the midcard TBS one did. I always thought that was so strange. My theory is something to do with stipulations in Mercedes' contract

I remember feeling like it should have ended way sooner than it did and went long for no reason other than having more EPIC nearfall sequences. But I guess that's true of like half of AEW PPV matches.

I say this in complete earnest that it was the worst AEW PPV match they've ever done. It overstayed it's welcome and absolutely killed the crowd. When Mercedes went for the Eddie spots and got lukewarm mehs from the crowd I knew I was watching a trainwreck
