I do not think it is just HHH; TKO also wants him to be like the Dana White of WWE. The problem, and you could argue Dana White is too ubiquitous in UFC, is that UFC is "real" and wrestling is not. It would be like putting the face of the director or writer on a movie poster alongside the stars. Vince would never put himself on every piece of media unless he was directly involved in a match (i.e. wrestling) and even then he went out of his way to put the talent over by letting himself be "humiliated."

On a related note, these WWE Playmobil toys were announced. HHH's figure is sold in a 3 pack with the ever popular Undertaker and Stone Cold. Nothing else is being sold as a 3 pack. Seems pretty obvious what is going on there.

I don't know a single casual fan who would go, "Oh wow it's HHH, I need this game" They could have even dined on Cena one last time.

Part of me just thinks that HHH is way bigger an egomaniac than can possibly be quantified. He has the most wrestlemania main events (tied with Hogan), is a 14 time world champion, and he still feels like he needs to prove himself.
