Why didn't any of the WWF officials or wrestlers try to get George Steele any help with his handicap? Like he just walks down to the ring all alone? No nurse or someone to help him?

He had some form of a newsletter at age 10 and by college he had a good number of tape trader contacts and such. Graduated college, worked for two newspapers while doing the newsletter as a hobby, but then switched to doing it full time when he had enough subscribers. Didn't need to pay informants when it rose up because younger wrestlers wanted to get their side of the story out and get coverage. Guys like Cornette and Eddie Gilbert as teenagers were already part of the underground fan nerd world so Dave had them as contacts.
