i think he just re-signed in the last year or two didn't he? his time will come.
some of the WWE guys people often talk about leaving for AEW, i can easily picture over there (drew, AJ, finn, etc). but i can't imagine LA knight in AEW at all, i can't picture how that'd go. i can imagine roman reigns in AEW before LA knight.
