Tony Khan Apologizes for Heckling Roxanne Perez

No.19820405 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
The fan involved in a now-viral moment with WWE Superstar Roxanne Perez at Saturday Night’s Main Event last week, has broken his silence—offering a full video statement on TikTok to address the backlash, clear up what really happened, and explain how Liv Morgan played a major role in resolving the situation.

In the video, the fan took responsibility for the tone of his heckling during Perez’s match and admitted it crossed the line. He insisted the heckling was part of a long-standing wrestling tradition:

>“Nobody made me apologize. It was fully my decision to,” he said. “I feel like my tone in that video… I got too hyped. I got too caught in the moment and my tone was a little disrespectful. Matter of fact, it wasn’t a little disrespectful, it was very disrespectful.”

>“I was just chirping a heel during the match. That’s something we do all the time. It’s very common and I never really meant any harm.”

The fan also responded to online accusations that his actions were driven by bias against female talent. A key moment in the viral video showed a security guard stepping in, which many believed was related to his verbal comments. He clarified that wasn’t the case at all:

>“I’m not really sure why people are saying I’m disrespectful towards women… We don’t see color, we don’t see gender… People kind of took the wrong narratives and ran with it.”

>“The security guard… told me to sit down and it was my last warning… It had nothing to do with the chirping. It was because you couldn’t stand up during a match in the front row.”
