dave's problem with it i don't actually think was naomi cashing in, he didn't like the ref bump leading to so much of the match taking place out of the ring in the middle of the match

Worse in terms of athleticism? Sure. But that only matters so much. Women today can outwork Hogan and Warrior and look at the dimes they drew. It's all about heat at the end of the day anyway. Looking at the list in the OP between the Iyo/Rhea/Bianca history and only even more so the Toni and Mariah feud that's exactly what made those matches as impactful as they were
