And yet so many people want to focus on gays because they think it's gross. Grow up and actually read the Bible. We are saved SOLELY by God's grace through our faith in Jesus and His finished work, and not by our own works. If we had to save ourselves, none of us would ever meet God's standard.
Gays in this thread: you don't have to clean up your life or any other such nonsense you may have heard from false teachers. You can come to Christ just as you are right now. He loves you. And when you believe the gospel, trusting only on Jesus Christ, you are saved forever, no matter what. Let the Holy Spirit do the work in you. Straight and gay, we all need Jesus.
The gospel: Christ died for your sins according to the Scriptures, was buried, and resurrected on the third day according to the Scriptures for your justification before God.
