I calculated just how much it would cost me for the cheapest route possible to WrestleMania 42 in Vegas. Apparently, the cheapest seat currently available is a resale ticket that costs $747.70. The cheapest hotel room that I could get is actually a crappy motel room that is a six-bed shared room, and I got one twin bed for about $120. Then, of course, there's the matter of my flying in, as most people going to WrestleMania will be flying in and will not be living in Las Vegas. That flight would be about $410 for a round trip if we base it off the literal middle of the country in South Dakota. Finally, what are we going to do about food and drinks? Well, if I only buy Little Caesars or Costco pizza and some water, we're looking at another 40-50 bucks. None of this has factored in Ubers to and from the event or a rental car or anything else. No merch buying, etc.
Final total: About $1320.
Worth it?
If you can add up to cheaper overall expenses, let me know. I wanted to be realistic without factoring in some Supertramp train riding to Vegas like a hobo type shit.
