That sucks. Not that I expected the game itself to be any good, but they had a really interesting list of names signed and it would've been great to have models of all of them that could've been ported over to 2K. I unironically would've paid the price of the game just for access to those

Apparently it's not dead according to the guys making it. Just some trademark hangup. From what I've read it seems this whole thing is a passion project they work on outside of their actual jobs

it is 100% dead, they just don't know it yet
this shit will either be in dev hell for at least 5 more years and then be the next Pro Wrestling X, a broken piece of shit, or they will cancel it because passion projects don't go anywhere and they have bills to pay
UPW is also in dev hell and we are still waiting on that demo they promised us years ago
so far only Chad Dickie delivered, maybe Retromania if you are into 2D shit but everything else has failed hard
