BUT… if they’re actually trying to elevate this belt, I also struggle to believe they’d put it on a part timer who won’t be around much. Unless they worked something out with Roman to be on more because it’s Netflix.
On the other hand, in the story of Punk and Roman, it seems like Roman “should” win, given that he’s kinda in the role of the spurned warrior who deserves vengeance (for getting called out on a podcast).
But, maybe HHH feels like Punk has kissed the ring enough to finally earn a true WM moment of victory?
I feel like I can make a case either way.
I also think there’s a 100% chance Seth is involved somehow.
