Watch any lucha libre match: they do a move, then spend the next 30 seconds gesturing toward the sexpats in attendance who don’t even understand wrestling. There isn't even any connection or logical progression in the moves. It's just random spot, pose for the crowd, random spot, pose for the crowd, backflip that serves no purpose, pose for the gringos who are there on vacation taking Instagram stories. No psychology, no selling, no story being told in the ring. The sexpats clap because they paid $8 USD for a ticket and a Modelo and think this is what Mexican culture is. They don't even know any of the wrestlers by name.
