>>19898025I think he’s demonstrated that he’s miscast right now. He’s not tall and he’s not a great promo. Those aren’t necessarily obstacles that can’t be overlooked and overcome at some point, but they DO make it harder for audiences to buy you as the top guy before you’ve done anything to deserve it.
Bron should’ve been cast as someone like that in the Vision. And guess what… HE WAS. Seff was the leader, and Bron was the second fiddle lackey he should’ve been.
But then they played the betrayal card WAY too soon. Bron spearing Seth was a shocking moment, but when it happened, I remember thinking, “Why are they doing this ALREADY?” There wasn’t even any buildup.
And then we all realized the timing.
Seth got shoot hurt at Crown Jewel on Oct 11.
Bron betrayed him on Oct 13.
Seth’s injury fucked EVERYTHING up. Knowing Seth would be on the shelf, they fast-tracked the Bron Betrayal angle and thrust him into the top spot before the story and fans were ready for it. It all fell apart from there, for reasons we’ve all discussed.
What they SHOULD have done was inject Logan Paul into the Vision on that Raw after Crown Jewel, and have HIM attack Seth and take over the Vision. Logan would’ve been the underserved leader, and you would’ve deepened the emotions of Bron and Sneed by forcing them to follow Logan fucking Paul now. THAT’s something you can build to a massive revolt, and (like when Virgil finally turned against Dibiase) the fans would’ve eaten it up whenever it happened.
But the big problem with that was…LOGAN PAUL WASN’T IN FUCKING AUSTRALIA.
The Raw 2 days after Seth got shoot hurt was still in Perth, and they had to figure it out with whoever was there.
They took a risk, went with Bron Betrayal 6 months before they probably wanted to, and crossed their fingers that Bron could pull it all off.
But he didn’t. And couldn’t.
And now he’s fading, mocked, hurt, and out.
Injuries and bad luck man.
