>>19924532i made a similar post about this previously once but essentially it just boiled down to the mods having no interest in pro wrestling, so they don't care about /pw/.
it's not a small board, but it's not a big enough board to urgently demand more moderation like /v/, /vg/, /b/, /pol/ etc. like we never get stickies for PPVs, that wouldn't even be a question on some other boards. the rumble one was the first since SS '24. and it's not a favored subject of the mod team like something like /a/ is.
/a/ has that strict nazi moderation because the mods love it. they made an entire other board to ask for anime recs because they don't want to let people ask that on /a/ - can you even imagine that for any other medium/board? and i get it, it's what 4chan was founded on and all. but we have like the complete opposite of that where this board is essentially a padded room with the most mentally ill patients in the asylum, and nothing is done as they spew shit all over our shared cell.
sort the catalog by creation date, and what are all the threads that are 10+ days old?
>schizo blake monroe hate thread>kairi sane image dump thread>2 schizo iyo sky hate threads>TNA ratings thread from 3 weeks ago>NXT ratings thread from 2 weeks ago>dynamite ratings thread>collision ratings thread>3 joshi general threads>if you stretch it to almost 10 days, 2 raw ratings threadsthreads 404 naturally on here in ~8 hours. does any of this shit really need to exist for this long? the OP is complaining about joshi generals because they got the 92 get, but they're not even the worst of it. so what's the solution?
i was originally for threads autosaging after 48? hours, but that would basically end all discussion of any wrestling more obscure than whatever is immediately on US tv right now.
i think the solution is to take the anti-flamewar/fanboy rules that /v/ has and apply them to /pw/, then really enforce that. ratings shit should be confined to one thread if allowed at all.
