True on-demand is essentially DVR for people who forgot to DVR the show. If the show is uploaded directly into the cable-satellite architecture, then it would count as a cable-satellite on-demand stream. If the cable interface essentially just provides an overlay/shortcut to the MAX content, then MAX content would count as a MAX stream. You just aren't forced to load the MAX app raw and do the full navigation yourself, the cable box streamlines it.
I guess I'll have to look it up myself and report back, I don't even know what cable boxes look like any more. They used to be big af because of the 3.5" hard drives, now they probably use SSD + Cloud, so much smaller.
