He fell into place for the War Games match but that's only because they needed one more guy on that side. Being paired with Seth this past year raised his stock as an actual main event level guy. I'd say almost the exact same for Breakker too. A year ago he was midcard champion tier. Now you've got people arguing he should be world champ. He grew a ton this past year and a big part of that is because of being placed next to Rollins and Heyman
Having said that. I hate this group and I'm not even sad for a second that it's crumbled so spectacularly. The Shield boys are the three most overexposed wrestlers in history and if I never saw another one of them again I would be happy
