The thing that bugs me about “talk show” segments like Miz-TV is that he won’t do one for 6 months and then magically he has one when they need to set an angle up
If you want someone to have a “talk show” segment it should be regular and usually just interviewing other people who are in angles, then when something confrontational happens involving the host it’s more of a shock

Literally all wrestling companies have had celebrity matches, I don't know why smarks always bitch and complain about WWE doing them. Wrestlemania 1 had a celebrity in the main event, WCW had celebrity matches, and AEW has had celebrity matches too. They're always shit but it's not something exclusive to new WWE

I grew up in the Jackass era so the Knoxville match with Sami worked for me and I thought Knoxville was based for continuing to keep kayfabe after and constantly shit on Sami despite getting boos for it when he was over, you had to at least respect him for that even if he wasn't of your generation and you didn't have the context for anything.
