She’s okay in the ring (certainly compared to the rest of the women), and she seems like a genuinely nice, hard working girl (which you always want in any company).
But she had some VERY embarrassing mistakes and botches during her push, and she doesn’t have a gimmick that fans can rally around, or that she seems confident in. The bird thing is going nowhere.
For now, her role is gonna be “singles match jobber” until they figure something out. I’d like to see them find a solid partner for her and give her a long run in the tag division, kinda like they’re doing with Roxanne Perez. Roxy probably isn’t going to ever be huge on her own, but as a tag teamer in a faction, Roxy is great. Lyra might be similar.
Teaming with Bayley probably isn’t the answer, tho. Problem is, there’s really no one else on the Raw roster who’s available for that.
I guess they could try pairing her with Ivy Nile. Or call someone new up from NXT for her to team with.
I dunno. I like Lyra, but it’s probably singles jobber and Bayley segments for the short term future. Eh, it’s a paycheck, I guess.
