That's about when i stopped watching with any kind of consistency, too. but we were an ever shrinking minority of hangers-on, even then. The normies never knew what tna was.

i tuned in for nash's wwe fued with hunter....there are bright spots here and there in aew... but damn do i miss proper wrestling.

Nash in TNA was dimes. I haven’t watch WWE consistently in years i had the network for nostalgia, and would check out the ppvs but they were always shit. Everything is so soulless these days, only show I can enjoy is Impact.

All of these streaming services NEED content to put up, the more the better. It's literally quantity over quality and wrestling is great for that because wrestling is

And the cost IS incredibly cheap. I know these deals seem huge but wrestling is cheap to produce for the sheer amount of programming it churns out. Regular television dramas might do like 10-14 episodes per year, each episode having a budget up into the millions. Wrestling has way less overhead and you get more of it.

Wrestling is unironically a streaming service's dream because of all of this.

Don't be so sure because your theory depends on people not being entirely fucking braindead when it comes to their money. People pay 80 dollars for PPVs in 2022. 80 bucks. Or, you can get the DAZN streaming service for 20 a month and then it's only 60 for you to get the PPV, wow. And they get away with this type of shit because people are willing to pay. People can't stop CONSOOMING.

I’m all for paying for shit you enjoy. Because if you don’t, don’t be surprised when they stop making it. But I’ve always been baffled by burger ppv prices. I order impact shows, they’re £20 here, and ppv has consistently been between £20-30 here for about 25 years, for big fights the lot.
