These chants didn’t exist when wrestling was red hot. It came into play in the indie feds in ‘03-‘04 and only got worse as viewership plummeted. Fuck hardcore smarks for killing wrestling.

The ticketholding marks at the venue can't help but shout "this is awesome" for things that very clearly aren't awesome, which I know is also a matter of taste, but when they do it 5x per match, every match, every week...
