The tag team battle royal tonight didn't have a winner planned until the last minute, when the Bucks basically pulled rank and made themselves go over.

Right now the plan is to have them beat ReDragon in the three way match to win the the belts at the upcoming pay per view, then go straight into a feud with the Briscoes so they can beat them too.

This has created much anger within the company, as FTR had been promised a feud with the Briscoes and to beat them, as a sop for the fact that the Bucks have point blank refused to face FTR in a rematch or to make good on the initial pledge that they would get it's win back after losing to the Bucks.

After Dynamite, there was a big confrontation with the Bucks and FTR, with FTR basically announcing "they were done" with the company and daring the Bucks/Khan to sue them for breach of contract as they walked out. Several wrestlers, among with MJF (who has become friends with FTR since they were lumped together as Pinnacle) confronting Tony Khan on allowing the Bucks to basically repeatedly screw over FTR like this. Especially since the whole idea of them fighting the Briscoes was their idea in the first place, once they realized that the Bucks had betrayed them and their promises to FTR.

As it stands, the Bucks are adamant in their desire never to return the job to FTR, claiming that "FTR are beneath them" and making derogatory remarks about Dax, who has recently started to become open about his struggles with depression and body image issues. Both Bucks have derogatorily called FTR "faggots" behind their backs & consider them to be on the very bottom when it comes to importance in the AEW roster. Khan meanwhile is letting FTR walk off, hoping they'll cool off

The incident, plus the Bucks's wanting to work with ReDragon solely to defeat them/cast them aside afterwards, has a lot of people upset and feeling that they'd rather have Cody back instead of the Elite, since "Cody at least could be trusted to keep his word"
