I'm fine if a promotion is like this and from the outset, they let people know its a parody. I'm also fine with someone like Yano in NJPW as his comedic antics fit in line with the match and trying to win. It sucks when a promotion has serious wrestlers and feuds but then completely silly shit thrown in there too.

This is why I started watching wrestling again years ago.
Please do 1 outside show every month, improvised prop stuff is the best and it doesn't have to be comedy everytime.

Yes. Always. Because serious wrestling is cringe as fuck. Everybody knows wrestling is fake shit, I can't take it serious, I can only have fun, a good laugh and enjoy some light-hearted shit.
In fact, the reason why TJPW was becoming dull to me, was because they were starting to act too serious, and it just doesn't fucking fit in a roster with bees, cats, dragons and kaijus. So now that they've done this silly ass pool show, I can say they're BASED again in my book.

Yes. Comedy has existed in wrestling since the literal carny days. Jim Cornette was a comedy character that mostly performed in small TV studios packed with children, regardless of whatever headcanon he tries to feed his audience.
