No, he's good at being friendly with people and make them feel like he's just hanging with them. The way he keeps saying 'fuck' while talking to Vince and treating Vince with respect but still shooting the shit. Pat also let them know he's not begging for his job and almost left the first day. He's really good at getting along backstage and getting along with people, not the same as being a plain suck-up.
