It's ridiculously easy to get Twitter verified nowadays. The easiest out of all of them is to claim to be a journalist. Same way Denise Salcedo, Bryan Alvarez, SRS, and Bix all got it. I know people who got Twitter verified for being "journalists" when all they did was publish two maybe three articles in local newspapers that no one reads
