Who can give Hangman a proper feud as champion? He's had some good matches but it seems like most people care about other guys right now (Mox vs Danielson, Punk vs MJF) - who do you pair him up with after he beats Cole?

I just can't see Hangman as a top guy and he's overshadowed hard by the likes of Bryan, Moxley and MJF. I would like him more if he was in the TNT title chase, but the world title run has been lukewarm. Beating Bryan so early on was a mistake.

I can see why they put the title on a “homegrown” guy, but he’s too inexperienced to be a believable champ. They should have kept Kenny as the champ and had him drop it to MJF.

Hangman isn't a top guy. He's the eternal chaser. His story was good when he was chasing because you wanted to root for him to succeed. Now that he has succeed, no one really cares about him because his story is over.

Page and Cole have at best the fourth hottest feud at the pay per view. Which isn’t entirely their fault as they haven’t been booked in any good angles, but it’s still an indictment on Page as champion. Sammy is slowly closing the gap between the titles

I didn't have high expectations for his reign given his relative inexperience in the singles scene but he did better than I expected in his title defenses, I'll give him that. Have him drop the title at DoN and let him get involved in other things like a run in the tag team scene or a reign as the TNT champion. He is still young and has room for improvement.

His problem is that having beat Omega, no one is on his level.
Danielson did a good job being his first opponent and establishing the benchmark to compete with him.
Archer did a good job: while not being on the same level as Hangman, him asking for a Deathmatch made the match more balanced and spectacular.
Cole did a bad job instead: he's the most suited to expose Hangman's past demons, being close to Kenny and the Bucks, but the feud underdelivered and focused more on Cole's desire to reach the top. And Having lost to Cassidy just a month ago makes him look unable to beat Page.
