Although there's been plenty of movement within the factions, the five factions have stayed the same since late 2020, when Cosmic Angels was created as the new fifth faction in the place of the dissolved Tokyo Cyber Squad. Since the dissolution of TCS might not have been the original plan before the unfortunate passing of Hana Kimura, and the only faction change before then since the Bushiroad acquisition was the addition of DDM, it's possible that Stardom's new ownership wants to make the factions more constant fixtures of the show. That being said, it's been so long since the last change in the lineup that it seems like the promotion is due to see one of the factions fall apart for another one to come up in its place, and with DDM possibly heading for a split which would add a new faction that may happen fairly soon. What faction do you think will get the axe? I think it's probably Cosmic Angels, there's a bit of dissension in the ranks and it's the newest stable and therefore the least established, plus none of them hold any titles that would make a split more difficult. I could see it possibly being Queen's Quest too though, as weird as a Stardom without QQ would be the contraction to 4 members without a clear leader makes a split at least a possibility.
