The argument to keep Regal is that he has relations with PWG and the indies, and some of the guys who have gone through there. If you're WWE and you don't want midget indie faggots anymore there is no benefit to having someone connected to that. Which means Regal has no value other than maybe being an on camera authority figure, which you also have covered. Tbh I dont see his value either. The indies have been picked clean. And personally I dont think guys like Atom Smol are dime or difference makers.

Really, regal was one of the most valuable assets for wwe to keep from aew. Even if they were going to cut off his influence in nxt and have him do nothing, itd be worth it to keep him from AEW, because Regal is one of the very select few people that both A.
