The way trios belt sorta works in New Japan, because they do tours, and some smaller ones/earlier shows during a bigger show need semi-mains/some value at the top of the card.

AEW already has two, arguably three (TBS, TNT and Tag) belts that don’t really mean a whole lot. Even the WH title seems pretty meaningless desu. The last thing they need is another belt in fact they should merge FTW and TNT and then maybe have a lighter weight division down the line.
