They're setting up the Riddle swerve.
It'll happen after this title loss. A disagreement and Riddle will be the aggressor. It'll catch everyone off guard and allow Riddle to be heel so he can take a loss without really harming his character.

I believe thats the idea, yes. He and Randy break up after Wrestlemania, go into an extended feud with Riddle eventually coming out on top, which catapults Riddle into the Main Event scene. Could be dimes if they do it correctly.
